Microsoft Outlook Express

The instructions below are for setting up NatiMail for Microsoft Outlook Express.

Step 1: Open Outlook Express from Start -> Programs

Step 2: Open Tools -> Accounts... from the Outlook Express menu.

Step 3: Click on the 'Add' button on the right side in the Internet Accounts window and select 'Mail...'

Step 4: Enter your Display Name and click 'Next'.

Step 5: Enter your Natimail email address and click 'Next'.

Step 6: Select the incoming mail server to be 'IMAP' in the dropdown box. Enter mail.natimail.com for both the Incoming mail server and the Outgoing mail server. Click 'Next'.

Step 7: Enter your Account name and Password, and tick the 'Remember password' box. Make sure to leave the 'Log on using Secure Password Authentication (SPA)' box unticked. Click 'Next'.

Step 8: Click on 'Finish'. You will now need to configure some preferences.

Step 9: Select your mail.natimail.com account and click the 'Properties' button.

Step 10: In the mail.natimail.com Properties window, select the 'Servers' tab. Tick the 'My server requires authentication' box underneath the Outgoing Mail Server heading, then click the 'Settings...' button.

Step 11: Click the 'Use same settings as my incoming mail server' radio button, and then click 'OK'.

Step 12: Click the 'Close' button in the Internet Accounts window.

Step 13: Click the 'Yes' button when prompted with the message: 'Would you like to download folders from the mail server you added?'

Step 14: Click 'OK' in the Show/Hide IMAP Folders window. Your new NatiMail account has been successfully set up in Microsoft Outlook Express.
